We have thousands of perennial plants in several different gardens for viewing. Absolutely amazing! Our first impressions from the road, was "oh, that is it? This will not take long." Where we ever wrong! It was huge, several acres of different plant and flower, intertwined amongst the buildings on the property, immaculately cared for by the owners. Yes this is a private garden. This is a paradise island in a sea of grassland. As a former professional photographer, weddings here would make for some amazing pictures. We would definitely go back because it was not even in the full bloom yet, and I will be passing this along as a must see in Billings.

Small botanical gardens. Laid out very well. Easy to walk around and see everything in about half an hour. Would be nice if the plants were identified. Some of the flowers were painted red, white and blue. Nice touch for July 4th week.

I was recently part of the wedding party at a Dan Walt wedding - it was AMAZING. The bridal room to get ready was lovely (and had A/C - major plus), their set up and take down was fantastic, and they were communicative and helpful during the whole process!! The grounds couldn’t be more beautiful - and gave so many locations for fabulous wedding photos. Reasonable pricing and rockstar service - 5 out of 5 and thanks to an amazing venue with great owners!

We had our wedding at DanWalt Gardens this past October, and it was absolutely perfect! The gardens are stunning and made for such a beautiful backdrop during the fall season. The owners were incredibly kind, organized, and easy to work with, which made the planning process so much smoother and stress-free. Another added perk was the on-site Airbnb that families can rent if it’s available—it was so convenient and made the weekend even more special having loved ones close by. If you’re looking for a breathtaking venue with wonderful owners who truly care, DanWalt Gardens is an amazing choice!

What an incredible experience! I was visiting from out of town and looking for something to do with my two girls. I felt so fortunate to stumble upon this place. The owner was incredibly welcoming and kind. The grounds were well kept and managed. I didn’t want to leave. I felt so relaxed and at peace here. Definitely one of the best things Billings has going for them. Highly recommend!
